I’ve enjoyed reading your blog, particularly the history of the lands and people on and near the trail. I hope you’ve had a chance to grab a copy of Jerry Barker’s new book about discovering the MST.

Happy Trails!

Thanks, Celeste. I enjoy learning about the areas I hike and talking to the people I encounter along the way. It certainly makes for an interesting walk!

It certainly was. I've backed off a bit from poetry to concentrate on prose. My new novel, tb published by criterion/rgy, will be out next spring. We're still thrashing about with the title. I will keep you posted. Write on, friend!

Jonathan,

I absolutely loved the pictures in this segment. I remember too how odd it felt walking beside a golf course on the Camino. It felt so out of place to me.

I love your continued gratitude for your MST trail angels and your amazing support team in Karen and Helen.

Keep trekking!

❤️ Marlene

P.S. I would like to hike some of the MST close to your home the next time Michael and I are in Durham.
